How Our Story Began
HAVEN was born in a poorly lit room in 2019. We discovered that youths in Nigeria, across the African Continent and even Globally have few to no safe spaces, where they can learn, grow, ask and get quality answers to their heartfelt while feeling safe.
We also found that accessing mental health and consultation within Nigeria is both difficult and expensive. Accessing mental health services and consultation is arduous and expensive, this does not help the narrative surrounding mental health, stigma and accessing these services in our ecosystem.
Thus began our journey. Haven started out serving a small community of individuals on WhatsApp, a community that has now grown into thousands due to the impact we have made.
